The Archbishop of Sydney's Appeals Unit raises money to assist those in need within the Sydney Diocese and in the developing world. There are three funds within the Appeals Unit: the Community Care and Development Program, Overseas Relief and Aid Fund, and the Overseas Ministry Fund. Christians are called to serve Christ in love. Through the Appeals Unit you can reach out to your neighbours in need, both locally and overseas.

AOMF Appeal: Help Transform Lives for God in Africa

Daniel Wambura: I personally had suffered for a long time being stone deaf, the problem that isolated me from others. I never guess that one day I could get an instrument, which would enable me to have pure communication with my fellow church members.

Apart from assisting me, the Development and Discipleship Project has brought greater changes in our parish. We were given the opportunity to choose ourselves the project we like most. Our choice was to build a church. Praise the Lord.

Community Care and Development Program (CCDP) works in partnership with local parishes, reaching out to show the love of Jesus to those on the margins.

The Overseas Relief and Aid Fund (ORAF) works on a range of development programs with Christian partners in some of the poorest countries in the world.

The Archbishop's Overseas Ministry Fund (AOMF) supports projects that promote the gospel in the developing world.
