Glenquarie Anglican Church: Break The Cycle No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS)

The NILS program began after project workers with the Legal Centre and Break The Cycle realised that many people in the community were unable to access affordable credit for basic white goods. The aim of the project is to provide people living on low incomes in the areas of Macquarie Fields, Glenfield and Ingleburn with small loans to purchase whitegoods. In addition, affordable credit is able to cover motor vehicle expenses for people in the area.  

By enabling people to purchase essential goods, BTCNILS® Inc aims to improve the quality of life of people in these communities. Goods are purchased from local businesses thus fostering a partnership between BTCNILS® Inc and the local community.
