The Archbishop’s Overseas Ministry Fund (AOMF) was established in 2001 to encourage the development of Anglican ministries overseas and to provide financial support for this training and related materials and equipment.

Berea Bible School
The aim of the project is to create a central Bible School for Kindu Diocese to prepare men and women to be equipped for gospel ministry.

The Diocese of Bukavu is running training courses for 45 pastors and evangelists at Bible Schools in Bangwe, Bukavu and Rutshuru.

We are supporting ten students over four years at the Alexandria School of Theology in Egypt.

Centre for Urban Mission, Carlile College
OMF provides scholarships for students from the informal settlements of Nairobi to train for full time ministry within these communities.

Theological Education by Extension
The program is intended to facilitate the training of both the ordained clergy and lay preachers/leaders at a grass roots level. The theological training will enable them have an increased involvement in their congregations, as well as equipping them with Biblical knowledge and skills so that they can become informed and effective teachers and preachers of the word of God.

In 2010 a couple from Mauritius, Rev. Eric and Mrs Jacqueline Ma Fat will come to Sydney at Archbishop Jensen’s invitation to study at Moore College (Bible and Missions Course) and undertake an intensive orientation of the Moore College External Studies (PTC) curriculum
Myanmar
Women's Training Conference
For many years, the Christian Church in Myanmar (formerly Burma) has not been tolerated. Only recently have Christians been able to meet together free from persecution. This project enables the teaching of the Bible to help women in their personal Christian journey, as well as giving them the skills to encourage and teach other women in their congregations and the wider church community in general.

Training for Ordained Ministers
We are contributing to the funding of four students to under take a three year Diploma course at the Evangelical Seminary of Southern Africa.

This project aims to provide Bible-based training to build capacity in team working, and help trainees to plan and to run their own development projects in their communities.

St John's Scholarships
The objective of the Anglican Church of Tanzania in starting St John’s University of Tanzania is to train people in ministry. The aim of the Scholarships Programme is to sponser students through the course that educates and equips them in theology as well as in either education or management. It is expected that when they complete their studies they will go back to their dioceses and use the skills they have acquired to improve the teaching and administration of the church.

Theological Scholarships at Uganda Christian University
We are contributing to the funding of ten students to undertake a three year theological course at the Uganda Christian University.
