Development & Discipleship Phase 2

Partner: Diocese of Mara, Anglican Church of Tanzania 

This project aims to provide Bible-based training to build capacity in team working, and help trainees to plan and to run their own development projects in their communities. Another aspect of the training is to encourage discipleship by helping Christians to see the relevance of their faith to their daily lives and therefore the development of their communities. The project includes a 20 day training course that involves worship, Bible studies, and prayer.

After the initial period of training, the programme works alongside parishes to support the discipleship groups and the implementation of their development projects. The programme works with each parish over a period of 3 years.
